I have lived the last six years of my professional life trying to serve two masters, pursue two paths, to eat my cake and still have it.
I’ve been advised many times this is a fool’s errand, that it will never work, that it is a waste of time and energy. And yet, I have continued to try. For the sake of fear. Fear of not being enough and, more than anything else, not having enough.
Another attempt at this came to nothing yesterday.
