No work for Intel today, so instead I am doing a lot of work at home — among other things, getting caught up with all the housework and chores that have gone undone for two weekends before this. (Maybe longer in some cases.) Lately, anyway, I haven’t considered doing housework to be drudgery. I’m not sure why this is — I suppose part of it has to do with the fact I’m doing this completely by my own choice. Amazing what free will does for you. ;-) The other part of it, I think, has to do with the sense of accomplishment I get from it. The results are real, and tangible, and come relatively quickly.

And now, if I haven’t convinced the world I’m absolutely nuts yet, it’s time to go back and do more housework. :-)

Aaaaaiiiiggggh!! Leave me alone already …

The last day of the most significant deadline in my layout work, and everyone is practically sitting on top of me in the office. How can I get anything finished when everybody is coming in here every few minutes asking “What’s the status?” and “Are we going to get finished?”

“We will if you’ll just leave me the heck alone!!!”

And I would like to get out of here in time to get to a party I’ve been invited to, but at this point I’m not counting on it.
